Several Geography graduate students selected for UGA Graduate School Awards

This fall, several of our graduate students received awards from the Graduate School!  Ashley Cornish, our Ph.D. candidate, received the 2026 Graduate School Dissertation Completion Award. This award is given to outstanding doctoral students in their final year of study and allows students to devote time to the completion of their dissertation by relieving them of departmental teaching or research duties.  Read more about it…
